Pre/Post Op Rehab
Pre & Post Op Rehab

In recent years, physiotherapy  treatments have evolved and have made significant technological advances. Being early adopters to these medical  breakthroughs, we improve our clinical outcomes. You can be assured that you are receiving latest evidence-based treatments.

Most athletes would agree with clinical professionals that the importance of preventative care to avoid injury cannot be stressed enough. Preventative care can and is still placed under the category of “sports rehabilitation”. A commonality between all programs is the goal of normalizing function while reducing any irritation to muscles, connective tissue, and joints that may present along the way.

Post-op rehabilitation complements the success of your surgery. The reality of post operative care begins post admission. With our tailored program, you will be on the road to recovery in good time.

Running Gait Analysis

If you are an avid runner, you may have heard of gait analysis. This is what clinicians use to identify issues with your running form. Oddly enough, when runners seek medical attention, clinicians tend to neglect watching them actually run. Only then will you be able to see and understand how a runner gets injured in the first place.

Spine Care Program

Your doctor may refer you to a physiotherapist who will design a neck-care program just for you. The physio will evaluate your condition to determine the best way to help ease your pain, stretch out your neck or low back and restore your mobility. You will also be advised on ways to take care of your spine to avoid pain and prevent further injuries.

Excess weight is often one of the culprits for many chronic conditions including osteoarthritic knees. Combining high calorie burning exercises and calorie restricted diet advice into one holistic program, our team provides evidence based recommendations that will help you achieve healthier weight. Be sure to hop off the procrastination train and hop on to a lighter, healthier you.

Clinical Pilates is a method of exercise used for rehabilitation after injury or surgery. Some of the benefits of Clinical Pilates include improvements in posture, flexibility, muscle strength, control, balance, core and pelvic floor strengthening.

Unlike a regular Pilates class where participants will all perform the same general program, one-on-one Clinical Pilates  provides you a more individualised treatment to meet your unique goals.
